Description

“Tap then you nap, loser…”

Name: Jessika Narcissa Eckhart
Nickname: The Scarlet Seraph, the Red Angel, the Mistress of the Breast Smother
Age: 25
Height: 162.6 cm/5’4”
Reach: 164 cm/64”
Weight: 63 kg/139 lbs
Hair Colour: Blonde
Eye Colour: Green
Nationality: US

Fighting Style: Technical/Submission Specialist
Finishing Moves:

  • Morningstar Choke (Double-toed leglock/Hammerlock/Half Straightjacket Choke. This is a particularly sadistic hold, with no way for the victim to express their surrender before the inevitable knockout.)
  • Heaven’s Gate (Arm triangle from the north-south position, combined with a breast smother. This was her signature move in BJJ, leading to KOs every time she sunk it in.)
  • Jessika has also shown a sadistic (if ingenious) habit of finishing her opponents with their own trademark submissions, not to mention her penchant for the breast smother in any form.

Strengths: Superb technique, experienced, sadistic, knowledge of unusual holds
Weaknesses: Relatively weak physically, arrogant

Description: Jessika Eckhart is your standard blonde bombshell. Sleek and curvy with a taut hourglass physique that conceals a deceptive wiry power, she’s easy to underestimate up until she has you screaming your submission in one of her thousand holds. Her ring gear is a simple blood red two piece matched with black foot wraps and pads, cut to display her body to best advantage.

Basic Bio: Jessika Eckhart comes from money. Not the highest tier of the most obscenely rich perhaps, but she’s certainly never wanted for anything in her life. Her father is a younger son of the Eckhart family, the owners of a major German industrial concern, while her mother comes from old New England money. Both her parents loved their daughter but neither was heavily involved in her upbringing. In an attempt to compensate for that, perhaps to salve their own consciences, perhaps because they genuinely believed it to be the best option, they spoiled her.

If she wanted something, she got it. Almost without question.

So, one day, when another girl at her elementary school dared to refuse to share something with her, Jessika took it. Stole it, not to put too fine a point on it. It wasn’t something she planned, more a spur of the moment reaction to the rejection (as she saw it). But she got a thrill out of the pain the other girl felt. So she did it again. This time, with no provocation, just to see the victim hurt. The items involved were petty by any standards, chiefly sweets.

But she found they tasted even sweeter that way. That was when Jessika learnt that something she had taken was better than something she was given. She was seven.

Naturally, it wasn’t long before she was caught. Her parents were informed, everyone tutted and made noises about punishment but really nothing was done. After all, girls would be girls they said. The sole consequence of note for Jessika, aside from a few temporarily lost ‘friends’, was that her parents decided she needed more discipline (and less free time).

Her mother thought the best solution was for her to learn a musical instrument but her father, thinking back to the old country and the discipline of the army, had a different idea. Instead, he told her she would be learning a martial art – the next best thing in his mind to joining the military. To make doubly sure it was a punishment, he sent Jessika not to an exclusive private class but to the local dojo, where she knew nobody.

In fairness, nobody had any reason to suspect Jessika would be any good at Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Up to that point, she’d shown little enough interest in athletics, preferring to sit and play or read. However, she soon proved to be something of a prodigy. Certainly, she wasn’t winning tournaments at eight. But she was top of her class and started competing on the local youth scene about her tenth birthday.

Then on the national level. And then the international level. And she won regularly, often making it look easy and quite often it did come easily to her. Jessika enjoyed what she did, was intensely competitive and, if she enjoyed it a little too much, she was very good at hiding her sadistic streak. By the time she was in her late teens, she’d earnt herself a definite reputation among the circuit as one of the rising prospects in the sport and as someone who more often than not left her opponents slumbering.

The crowd loved the woman they’d christened the Scarlet Seraph, her fellow fighters generally didn’t – particularly when she started to use the reverse arm triangle that rapidly became her trademark. Few liked going out with Jessika’s chest pressed over their face.  Quite a few did, whether they liked it or not, even more when she shifted to fighting MMA rather than pure BJJ opponents.

But at some point, certainly by the time she’d got her black belt at 20, it all just stopped being worth Jessika’s time. It became boring and she wanted not just to try something new but to innovate. In truth, she’d started studying wrestling already, chiefly the takedowns. So, the jump wasn’t too bad. If she got another woman on the mat, they would tap out – most of the people she came up against just couldn’t deal with her technique. And soon enough her technical wrestling ability was growing in leaps and bounds to match. So now Jessika had a pro wrestling game to almost match her BJJ.

Not a fun combination for anyone put in the ring with her.

And Jessika had a growing reputation for being a bad opponent. An excellent example of that was about a year ago, when she took on an up and coming rookie, someone relatively new to the federation but had already got in her way. Another specialist in submissions, in fact, though very different to Jessika’s crisp technical style.

Her name was Samiya Kusanagi and she was the first opponent to ‘enjoy’ Jessika’s Morningstar Choke.

In the aftermath of the bloodbath, the Scarlet Seraph was suspended as a result of her actions during the match. Then her contract was allowed to run out. Fortunately for her, women of her talents are certainly in demand in the world of combat and soon enough an executive of a new federation came a-calling. A contract was agreed and Jessika was back in action - oh, the local manager doesn't approve. But there was nothing he could do about it. For the moment, Jessika's eyes are fixed on the AWCC's champion for, as far as she is concerned, there's only one woman around worthy to wear that belt. And she's eagerly awaiting a rematch with her former chew toy, Samiya.

Everyone else?

Well, they’re just in her way. But Jessika's going to love putting them down and out.

Notes: Physically, Jess is essentially based on Scarlett Johansson circa 2006/2007 but as a wrestler (so toned up). She’s very much meant to be one of the top fighters in my group so far; as befits the woman who beat Samiya within an inch of her career, she is a very serious badass and a force to be reckoned with. Credit as ever to Cale aka :iconafwfan-2: for the gorgeous render work and thank you!
